Golf GTI 16V

My daily driver would qualify as other volks’ pampered youngtimer if it were in better condition: an ‘88 model Golf GTI 16V, four-door with sunroof. But it does have an excuse for the slightly worn looks: I bought it for 200 Deutschmarks, ten years ago, and it has more than 400,000 kilometres on the clock as of recently. Currently needs a couple of miscellaneous repairs to make TÜV in April; I’m confident it will take that hurdle with flying colours again.

Still, this is the car that you will read about the most in the coming weeks, I think. If of course you decide to read this blog at all. :-)
